Banat Suad is the most famous and beautiful Arabic poem written by Muhadrami Poet Ka’ab bin Zuhair, praising Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It was the last years of Prophet’s life, the poet Ka’ab composed this poem to protect himself from the death penalty that was issued by the Prophet as the poet was among the grave critics of Islam and Muslims. By the advice of his brother Bujair the poet Ka’ab approached prophet and surrendered. As a gift he presented his work and recited to from beginning to the end. The Prophet listened all and presented his cloak (scarf) to him.
